The D2-XC enclosure by Dotworkz is equipped with the supplier’s Ring of Fire heating system, which provides constant warm airflow within the unit to safeguard the camera inside. The enclosure prevents surveillance cameras from freezing in temperatures as low as -40 degrees F, with a built-in defrosting capability that removes snow and ice from its lower dome. The unit is large enough to accommodate routers, cell networks, hard drives, UPS, WiMax and mesh hardware. An included Rapid Link unit from the supplier allows for integration into 900, 5.8 and 2.4 GHz wireless networks with a range of up to 20 miles.
